A magazine for those passionate about poetry.
I was tasked with creating a magazine of any topic. I chose a poetry magazine and created the logo inspired from rhythm symbols in poetry and a bold colour palette. The core elements of the magazine include soft sketch illustrations to accompany the poems.
Seeker is a poetry magazine targeted towards people with a passion for meaningful poetry that teaches you something and makes you think. The name seeker comes from the curiosity and desire to learn and grow, and the passion to always seek deeper meanings. The logo was inspired by the rhythms used in poetry, and the line and three circles represent that. The ‘seeker’ type in Big Caslon is in italics to connect with the flow of the centre and create movement in the shape. The primary colour palette was chosen to highlight the illustrations that will be used to accompany the poetry.
